|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 11:00am, repeating until May 19, 2019

Join Belle and her friends at the Connecticut Science Center for a garden party fit for royalty. Beauty and the Beast fans, both young and old, will enjoy the 2017 remake of the Disney classic on the giant screen in our 3D theater. We’ll also have some “beasts” on hand with LIVE animals and themed science activities in our galleries. Princesses and princes- don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty. The fun extends to the Rooftop Garden with fun, family gardening activities presented by the Petit Family Foundation. Plus, tons of other activities including a photo booth, bounce house, and arts and crafts.

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.

This movie will run at 3PM only on Saturday and Sunday, May 18 & 19. Additional ticket purchase required.

There is a separate ticket required for the theater and seating is limited. All other activities are included FREE with General Admission or Science Center Membership.
