The Amherst Historical Society is pleased to announce the schedule of artists for the 2024 season of Strings at the Strong, a series of summer concerts presented in the Garden at the Strong House, 67 Amity Street, in the heart of downtown Amherst.  The series once again features a range of local classical musicians with a focus on chamber music from a variety of eras.

The series will open on Saturday, August 24th with Amethyst String Quartet, and concludes on September 14th with the FIKA Quartet.

The concerts are on Saturdays from 2:00 – 3:30 pm and are free and open the public, thanks to the generous support of a grant from the Amherst Cultural Council and our sponsors Stamell Stringed Instruments and Peoples Bank.  Please see the website for schedule updates.  The museum will also be open before the concerts for viewing of the current exhibit “Cambodians in Amherst: The History of the Khmer Community.”
