Amherst, Downtown Halloween and Spooktacular

Get your costumes ready for Halloween Spooktacular 2025 on Sunday October 26 in Downtown Amherst. Bring the family downtown on Sunday, October 26 for Amherst Recreation’s Halloween Spooktacular. Trick or treat at local businesses from 12 to 1 PM, enjoy a costume parade from 1:15 to 1:30 PM, then head to the haunted house and kids carnival from 1:30 to 3:30 PM.
Presented by Amherst Recreation with Jones Library, this free community celebration brings friendly frights, sweet treats, and plenty of photo moments all within a short stroll of your favorite downtown shops and cafes.
