The Amherst Historical Society is pleased to announce the schedule of artists for the 2023 season of Strings at the Strong, a series of summer concerts presented in the historic 19th century garden in the heart of downtown Amherst.  The series once again features a range of local classical musicians with a focus on chamber music from a variety of eras.

The series will open on August 26th with the the Oxbow Quartet, and continues on September 2nd with the Cushman String Quartet, Amethyst String Quartet on September 9th and concludes on September 23rd with the Puffer’s Quartet.

The concerts are from 2:00 – 3:30pm and are free and open the public, thanks to the generous support of our sponsor Peoples Bank and a grant from the Amherst Cultural Council.  Please see the website for schedule updates.
