The Amherst Historical Society will be concluding it’s 2023 Strings at the Strong concert season on Saturday, September 23rd with a performance by the Montague Quartet.  The concert will be held outside in the historic 19th century garden at the Strong House, located at 67 Amity Street in the heart of downtown Amherst.  The works by Chevalier St. Georges, Gershwin and Hayden will be included.

The concerts are from 2:00 – 3:30pm and are free and open the public, thanks to the generous support of our sponsor Peoples Bank and a grant from the Amherst Cultural Council.

In addition, the museum will be hosting Art on the Lawn, an art and craft market that invites local artists to present their work on the lawn.
