The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame will soon embark on a $25 million renovation to the interior and exterior of the basketball shrine. Located in the birthplace of basketball, the new design will include a virtual reality experience, a player’s locker room, and a new ultra-high definition theater among other upgrades. Phase one of the project is scheduled to begin in January 2018 with the museum remaining open during this phase of the renovation.
